Creating polls with Microsoft Forms is not a new feature on Microsoft Teams. It have been possible to utilize Forms bot for creating polls, but using a bot is not so intuitive for end-users – at least I always needed to check, what the actual format was to create a new poll.

With Forms message extension, creating a poll is more simple. Just open message extension from three dots after reactions, open More actions and click Create a new poll.

Nice create a poll dialog is opened for creating a new poll. Notice that suggest options feature is also available. Multiple answers setting allows selecting multiple option while voting.

After clicking Next a preview card is shown, this didn’t work for me at first. From preview dialog you can get back to editing the poll or send it.

Done! Let’s start voting. Forms poll support only one vote per person, and vote can be changed just by submitting a new vote.
